Exhibit One: Cameras

Expressions of time, memory, places, and ideas. Photography can suggest some, all, or none of these; ideally, they should coexist. But before we can attempt any kind of expression, we need to think about our tools: different cameras suggest different images.

The concluding two sections of our long-running image gallery on cameras. Light, accurate, and easy to carry – the SV is a good camera to take on short trips around and out of town. The Cardia was a going-away present, and it was used in at least three different countries for over ten years. In the end, it came crashing down after a cat.

Exhibit Three: Many Moods of Kyoku

Pen and ink drawings of Kyoku’s changing expressions – and he is an expressive cat.
