Hachitaro News, 7 August to 18 September

While I was in the hospital for a month, little Hachitaro’s weight more than doubled: it became 1601g. He became more than five times heavier compared to July 16, the day we rescued him. At first we could hold him in the palm of one hand, but now I have to use both arms to hold him.
His estimated age became twelve weeks. We were going to go to the animal clinic for his vaccination but still haven’t gone yet.

Then, when I had written until there, for some reason a jug I had brought for watering the upstairs plants fell over, and water spilled on the mat I use to protect the floor from chair damage. When I was in the bath room washing out the towel I used to wipe up the water, Hachitaro, full of curiosity, appeared and sniffed here and there. He suddenly jumped on the bathtub, which is usually covered by a lid, and he dove into the water. Of course I rescued him quickly. It was good that it happened when I was with him. This became Hachitaro’s first bath.

Anyway, he plays well, eats well, and sleeps well today too.
