Hachitaro News, 19 September to 1 October
I wrote before that Hachitaros eyes were blue. But I was wrong: that was the case just after he came to our house; the colour has settled down now, and I could say its amber. Among the three cats in our house, he has the darkest eyes.

Soon he will top 1900g. We think he is about 14 weeks old now, and he got big faster than we thought. We thought a kitten must be fluffy, but Hachitaro has a muscular body. He moves busily. He is a spider cat who climbs up to the top of window screens without any difficulty (180cm, about 6 feet). How can we stop him doing it? His half brother, Kuro, also moves fast, but he is slower than Hachitaro. Compared to them, Kyoku moves very slowly. (For our pace, though, Kyoku is suitable.)

Coolululululululu
Hachitaro says, like the sound of a wooden sliding door thats hard to open, as he runs past. He never miaows like regular cats!
He plays well with Kuro: they are both young, and brothers.
Kyoku sometimes plays with Hachitaro in slow motion, when he is in the mood. Kyoku doesnt seem to like rough and self-centred Kuro very much. Small Hachitaro seems to like both of them, so he is a cushion between them. Kyoku has been taken out of his past easy-going single life, and became more moody than before. When he doesnt feel like playing, but Hachitaro comes to play with him, he threatens him. Kyokus suffering will continue for a long time. Aaah.
