Hachitaro News, December 13 to 27

We thought that Hachitaro’s weight gain had slowed down, but he has already become almost 3.5kg. He is about half a year old.
Thinking about this past July, when we had to start keeping Kuro in our house for his injury treatment, Kuro weighed 3.85kg in a net on the vet’s scale. We think Kuro was about a year and a bit old at the time.
Growing up as a wild cat or a house cat: the weight difference is big.

By the way, Kuro stopped to grow taller, but he keeps growing wider, and he seems to have become the chubbiest cat of the three in our house. I think I wrote before that Kyoku couldn’t keep up with Kuro and Hachitaro, but that’s yesterday’s news. Now, Kuro often can’t follow the speed of Kyoku and Hachitaro.

An extra story about Kuro’s recent history:

He became an inside cat, and he never shows the desire to be out again.
He probably has only bad memories of freezing or being bullied outside?
He’s not interested when he hears cats fighting outside.
Maybe his only interest now is eating.
He eats fast, and he tries to eat the other two’s leftovers.
Kitten food for Hachitaro. Regular grownup food for Kyoku.
And only Kuro gets light food, but he eats a lot.
So now his tummy became bigger.
He walks like a chubby bulldog or pug.
But his eyes lost their sharpness, and became cute.
