Summer just keeps on going!

However, according to the old calendar, it became Autumn. We have to be patient for one or two months more, even if it is 33 or 34 degrees every day. Because we are who we are, we’ll probably be saying ‘It’s chilly! ’ soon. (So we tell ourselves.)

This morning, our weather was very faithful to the forecast: we had rain and thunder, and then it became cooler. (But after that, it became sunny and hot again.) I heard the voices of a mother and her daughter working together on the summer holiday homework. It will be over in ten days.

Yesterday, we went to a big-box electrical goods shop, looking for a small electric fan, expecting that the price would be lower now the summer is passing. We really want to reduce the heat from our computer monitors, even just a little bit.
We bought electric fans for both of us (18 cm clip fans, adjustable with two kinds of wind, and with rotating heads). We put them in our rooms, but I had to rethink the location of mine, because the distance of the fan from the monitor was probably too close, so it made the picture quality worse. I still use the electric fan I usually use in my room. Aah, the wind is pretty warm.

Chris seems to have found a place to hang his fan. But I don’t know how it has been working.

Some hours later
Chris found his mini fan also had a bad effect on his monitor. He couldn’t find a suitable power supply for it, so now we’re using it in our kitchen.
Mine has happily found a good (so far) location that is about two meters away from my monitor.
