Did we try hard?

‘Humanoid Monster BEM’ vol. 4 arrived!
Every time each of the six (19th to 24th) stories started, Chris took photographs of the opening scenes that I really like more than the stories themselves. He took a total of 159 pictures, including the ones I could and couldn’t use. A digital camera is so handy, isn’t it!
I have introduced a simple version of this before, but I let myself go and tried again to make a perfect (?) version!

As before, the stories are still scary, and they still don’t make sense to us, but that doesn’t matter. The three main characters like taking care of humans, and they are always nice people!
If it was broadcast now, people would probably regard the stories as questionable: they’d say it’s bad for education or discriminatory. I remember there being problems with this. (From childhood I used to watch it many times, including rebroadcasts, but I became a person who can sort out the good and bad bits. However, I don’t remember the stories much.)

While watching ‘Humanoid Monster BEM’, we were thinking that society as a whole has been slowly and unconsciously turning out ‘less moral’. That’s been catching our attention recently.
