We took the train
We rode the Nishitetsu Ômuta line for the first time in a while: out to Gojô, which is one stop before Dazaifu.
I wanted to see a lot of cosmos, so I searched for a good spot, and learned that at Kanzeonji temple there is a cosmos farm planted by local people. I heard the flowers were about 70% in bloom, so far there had been no rain, and there was no admission fee.
Happily, there wasnt a long walk to the cosmos farm, and there wasnt the kind of meaningless long distance walk that often happens on a day trip with Chris. But the cosmos werent in full bloom yet! Too bad!

We met a volunteer guide, and he mentioned he would be very happy if one fifth of the people who go to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine or Kyushu National Museum would go to the original Dazaifu side.
We walked to Dazaifu station for the return train, and indeed we saw a lot of people around there.
For the next while you can see the cosmos, and the walking route from Dazaifu to Gojô and Tofurô is pretty nice, you know! Lets go!
