Our small complaint for this month

We heard that quite a few musicians are giving away their music because they can’t depend on CD sales any more. (They focus on concert profits more than that.)

The other day, a band we like offered their new album for sale as a ‘pay what you like’ download. Because we like their music, we bought it for a price that we thought was fair for the band, the music, and what we could pay.
One month later, we learned there were a lot of people who thought they should get it for the lowest possible price, so the average price was very disappointing for us. Is this the right attitude for the people who produce your favourite music?
Many people offered the excuse that the band is already rich enough, so the poor customers don’t need to pay for the rich musicians.
We believe this is not the right way to think! Something’s wrong!

Of course, I like to get free goods or good deals or bargains! But I believe people should properly evaluate talent and effort. Even if people have money or not, I can’t stand such guile!

In addition, whenever I read the newspapers, I find many, many articles about devious and cunning people, and it makes us gloomy. Where is trust?
These are our recent complaints!
