New veggie!

It looks like rape blossoms, but it’s not. It is a member of the rape family called ‘autumn poem’, which we recently bought for the first time. Indeed, it tastes like asparagus. I wondered why we hadn’t seen before: it doesn’t have a peculiar taste and it’s easy to eat. We bought it at a vegetable market from Chinzei, Saga prefecture, which is held a few times a month at a local supermarket!

By the way, the potato named awakening of Inca, which we happily ate last year, we haven’t seen at all this year, which is so sad…
