A spring gift

Yesterday evening, we heard the doorbell, and Chris, who thought it was some kind of parcel, went the entrance ready to sign for a delivery.
In the kitchen, I thought we weren’t expecting any deliveries that day.
Unexpectedly, it was one of his English conversation students, who had been to Asakura, Fukuoka, and she kindly brought him some souvenirs!

Ginger beans and flowering plants. Thank you so much!

There are many flowers in our yard this year, and we are very happy to see them!
Even though we are gloomy about many price rises this spring, just to see many flowers cheers us up! (Feel happy!)
I planted them today.
