Weekend cherry blossoms

The weather forecast said it would rain on Sunday, so we looked at many cherry blossoms before the petals fell.
At first, we went to Hirao Ôike, near our house. Some bats were flying about.
We were only going to drink beer while looking at the cherry flowers, but we felt like bringing some snacks to go with the beers, so I boiled some sausages we had at home.
And we brought dried sliced sweet potato, too.
Beside us, a group of ladies had brought deluxe food with them. We felt a little like we should have bought a bentô box or something more.

Saturday and Sunday, I went back to my parents’ house.
There, too, the cherry blossoms are in full bloom!
We worried it might rain, but it was actually too sunny, and we even felt hot outside.
