Even though it rained and we feel chilly

The rain stopped but it’s still cloudy and we feel chilly.
I heard Sapporo was warmer than here yesterday.
I know it’s April (maybe many people are wearing spring clothes) but I feel chilly and still wear clothing not much different from wintertime.

I thought our garden flowers might have been knocked out by the strong rain so I went out for a look.
Oh! I found the Naniwa rose is blooming!
A total of three flowers are in bloom, and many buds will open soon.
They bloom well every year. Thanks!

By the way, I heard eleven cherry trees were broken or pulled up during the early blossom time at a park, and in another town, tulips that were reared for a festival were driven over by a car. (Both in Fukuoka prefecture.)
Today I read in an article that 1,050 tulip flowers for the greenery fair in Gunma were also cut.
How come these terrible things happen one after another!?
