So, what is this?

The answer is a cat’s claw. Probably Kuro’s.
Cat claws naturally come off, and we usually see them looking like a crescent moon shaped sheet. However this one came off whole, in a shape that made me imagine a cast-off shell.

As the sunrise gets earlier, so the cats’ breakfast request time also gets earlier. When it’s around 5:30 in the morning, Hachitaro starts to do something bad in my room noisily. He is noisy anyway. So these days, I give up to the noise soon, and clean the cats’ litter boxes and prepare their breakfast.
It’s cats’ summer time.
