In Heiwa #5 Park

Light and shadow explore the open page of my notebook; leaves and breeze above; light sparkles on an old pond in the valley below. The breeze teases out better latent images in my bag. What am I to make of the scene? At peace on a afternoon in late spring, how does the sound of wind in the leaves make an echo of itself in my thoughts? Does it stir, or murmur? Does it churn in all directions, or is it floating calm and cool? There are dogs crying in the distance. The word ‘potential’ comes to mind of itself, as another latent image goes into my bag. The bench opposite my own. Shadows, and a young tree.
