Free Monthly Calendar: Kuro’s phrasal verb of the month (August)

We are sorry! This time, it became a little late. Because recently it’s been terribly hot! (Right?) My room is very hot.
The national holidays are Japanese as they are in the other calendars on this site.

This photograph is from almost exactly one year ago, on 30 July 2009, and shows limitless appetite Kuro.

August’s phrasal verb:
pan out
(inseparable, intransitive; most often used in a negative sentence)
to succeed; when the result of something agrees with what we expected or hoped it would be.
We tried to grow cucumbers and eggplants in our garden, but it didn’t pan out.
I don’t know how the summer’s going to pan out, but I hope I have time for a holiday.
Kuro thought he would get all the food, but it didn’t quite pan out that way.
